Annual partnership levels:
Contractual partnership: minimum donation €30,000
This partnership level is suitable for companies with a turnover of more than €10 million.
Contractual partnership: minimum donation €10,000
This partnership level is suitable for companies with a turnover of up to €10 million.
About the partnership in general:
An agreement is always signed on the partnership with the New Children’s Hospital Foundation. The partnership is always tailored to support the partner company’s sustainability objectives and communication.
The partnership level may involve product sales and services, with a share of the product’s sales price channelled to the New Children’s Hospital Foundation. The agreement specifies the products or services to be sold, the amount to be paid to the Foundation (at least 10% of the price of the product) and the dates of remittance.
As a partner, the company is granted the right to use the New Children’s Hospital Foundation’s logo and graphic materials in company communications and events, as well as in the sale and marketing of campaign products and services during the partnership period.
As an example of the areas of support during 2024, in-room digital stimulation during procedures, such as ultrasound scans and dental visits, have been piloted. A projector is used to project age-appropriate videos or moving images on the ceiling of the room to help the patient calm down and reduce tension about the procedure.

One-time donation for businesses
Companies can become a supporter of the New Children’s Hospital Foundation by making a one-time donation. The company can also organise an event or a fundraiser of its own design, for example, and donate the funds raised to the Foundation. As a supporter, the company will receive graphic materials from the Foundation for marketing and communication purposes.
The Christmas card collection, where the company receives a digital or cardboard Christmas card to use, is another popular donation method.

Discover the beneficiaries
The donated funds are channelled to benefit the development of specialist medical care for children. Donations have made it possible for long-term research and development to continue, and more seriously ill children have been cured. For example, donated funds helped to establish the national centre for research of children and adolescents’ pain management, the Pediatric Pain Center, launched in 2020. The Pediatric Pain Center has been an important step in the development of treatment methods in Finland. Launched with the support of the Foundation and its partners, the Pain Center became part of the normal operations of HUS in June 2023.

Heart health for young patients
In Finland, the demanding care and research of children’s heart diseases is centralised at the New Children’s Hospital in Helsinki. Donations support research and the development of new treatments.
Art therapy to help with pain
Art therapy is an effective, drug-free treatment for pain and therefore it is particularly suitable for young patients. The donations help make art therapy available nationwide.
Using data for new treatments
Specialist paediatric medical care accumulates a huge amount of patient data. The Foundation’s funding helps bring doctors and data scientists together to develop ever better care for young patients.
