Make a donation
Donations help us support the development of medical care for children and promote the overall well-being of families when their child is ill. All donations are used in full to benefit children and young people.
A beautiful way to help is a memorial or anniversary gift. Instead of flowers or other presents, you can wish for a donation to help children and young people. You can also give an intangible Christmas gift to children through us.

You can help. Every single donation is important and will be channelled in full to benefit children and young people.
Discover the beneficiaries
The donated funds are channelled to benefit the development of specialist medical care for children. Donations have made it possible for long-term research and development to continue, and more seriously ill children have been cured. For example, donated funds helped to establish the national centre for research of children and adolescents’ pain management, the Pediatric Pain Center, launched in 2020. The Pediatric Pain Center has been an important step in the development of treatment methods in Finland. Launched with the support of the Foundation and its partners, the Pain Center became part of the normal operations of HUS in June 2023.
Below are some of our beneficiaries that we support actively.
Heart health for young patients
In Finland, the demanding care and research of children’s heart diseases is centralised at the New Children’s Hospital in Helsinki. Donations support research and the development of new treatments.
Art therapy to help with pain
Art therapy is an effective, drug-free treatment for pain and therefore it is particularly suitable for young patients. The donations help make art therapy available nationwide.
Using data for new treatments
Specialist paediatric medical care accumulates a huge amount of patient data. The Foundation’s funding helps bring doctors and data scientists together to develop ever better care for young patients.
